Simple repairs and maintenance that can be completed in a reasonable amount of time while the customer waits, may be made when practical. There is no such thing as a clock that cannot be repaired, although some repairs naturally take longer than others. All professional service ranges are available as may be needed, from basic scheduled maintenance, to complete mechanical rebuilding.
When a clock’s needs exceed what can reasonably be accomplished during a brief shop visit, a claim check is issued, the clock is left with the shop, and the job is added to the queue of waiting work. Turnaround times vary according to the extent of work required, and the number of jobs in each work category’s queue.
The queue for maintenance work moves at a faster pace than the queue for complete rebuilding jobs, each of which naturally requires more dedicated time. The queue for intermediate level jobs advances at a similarly moderate rate.
